This book has great color pictures that compliment the story of a baby being born in water at home. The whole family is involved in the great miracle of bringing a new baby into this world. The event takes place in their home, and storyteller is a seven year old girl named Katarina. Her brother Magnus who is five years old and Katarina get to help out and watch as their baby brother is being born. There is lots of anticipation and wonder. When the baby finally arrives Katarina and Magnus got to watch the birth, and they cut the umbilicus cord.
